CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING: VERSCIACO SKATING COURSE

A fabulous holiday with a brilliant instructor, lots of fun, amazing scenery, great skiing tracks and a fantastic hotel (especially the spa with mountain views for relaxing tired muscles after a day of hard work).  For me learning to skate was challenging but brilliantly rewarding.  Thank you Eric.

This was my first ever trip with Exodus so i didnt know what to expect, but i neednt have worried. It exceeded my expectations and was very well organised. For anyone who loves dogs or just wants to do something a bit different then this is for you. The scenery in Slovakia is amazing and although we didn't have much snow for the time of year we still had plenty of sledding time. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and the locals are friendly and helpful.

KENYA & TANZANIA ADVENTURE

Excellent holiday. We saw the big 5 (and lots of them), got close enough to get good snaps. Really enjoyed the mix of walking safari, early game drives and beach.

TUNISIA EXPLORER

An excellent short break to an accessible interesting destination without the hassle of advance visas & long flights. Very packed itinerary. A good combination of history, archeology, scenery & cultural interest. Our Tunisian guide was certainly one of the most interesting & informative guides I have had, plus guided at each site himself. Some good optional desert activities especially the quad biking & 4WD desert excursion. The desert cultural evening was notable only for being the most corny & kitsch I have ever attended. The overnight desert camp is definitely worth doing especially if you've never camped in the desert before. Loved the Star Wars movie locations. Hotels were of good standard but lacking in character - probably a function of availability. Most meals are included & were not bad albeit uninspiring (as Tunisian food tends to be). Some of the cheap local shwarma can be very good. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable trip & good value.

MT TOUBKAL WINTER CLIMB

This trip is classed as 'tough' and that is certainly what it is if your haven't trained, or are not naturally very fit!   I would class this as an enjoyable experience rather than a holiday!  The mountains, once you get into the snow, are beautiful and awe-inspiring.  They are also very steep!  The accommodation is very basic and cold, but as long as you have warm clothes it's fine.

Tough but exhilerating biking in a fascinating landscape

I was looking for an outdoor holiday that would give a close up view of a part of the world and a culture that was new to me, with some winter sun and not much sitting in a vehicle. This trip delivered on all counts. But better than that, it was extremely well organised and lots of fun!

Exodus Response

Although the cycling on this trip may seem difficult, (mainly due to the terrain), it is graded as moderate thanks to the good quality accommodation and vehicle support available. There are a few difficult sections which are left as optional for those who want to push themselves further. I agree that you should come with some off-road biking experience and a moderate level of fitness to get the most out of this trip.

The trip was interesting and we saw some amazing sights especially Sabratha and Leptis Magna.  However the first two days were rather pointless - sleeping in a cave in December probably not a good idea!

This was a great holiday to see a part of the world that is so difficult to get in to.  It wasn't particularly relaxing, but then a "highlights" tour was never going to be!
