Peaks & Valleys of the Atlas

Peaks and Valleys of the High Atlas

5
I really enjoy this 15 days trek in the High Atlas Mountains. It was so good experience and the trip a nice surprise. I think the route is very well planned. Twelve days are spent in the mountains and it is good mixture of walking through local villages, which gives you the sense of the local way of living and challenging walk in remote landscape with demanding peaks to conquer and through valleys where each valley is different. Even though the trek is challenging it is very doable, rewarding and worth the effort. Magnificent views every day, good food and mixture of wild camping and simple gites which gives you both the nice experience of wild camping in these beautiful mountains and opportunity to freshen up every third or second day and appreciate access to shower and facilities. Three nights are spent in Marrakech so you will also get a taste of the city live which is great experience also. I was so lucky to get the best guide and join this amazing group of people which made this trip very special.

Peaks and Valley of High Atlas - TMT 150920

Not for the faint hearted - tough physical challenge, but very doable. You will trek the equivalent of Mt Everest and more, but the views leading up and over each pass are breathtaking and worth it. Great value trip - accommodation as expected, food was great and the local people friendly.

Peaks and Valleys of the High Atlas

If you like walking and magnificent views at a reasonable price, this is the trip for you. It's not an easy fortnight's trekking but the challenges are well worth it. The route has been very well planned to allow you get to into the rhythm of the climbs and descents and the scenery gets better every day. Alternating between campsites and gites means it's never too long before you can freshen up and the team do a great job at making life easy for the trekkers.

Peaks & Valleys of the Atlas: Great trip + value for money

5
As only Dutch man I joined this trip and it was great. The rough mountains, the beautiful green valleys, the challenging hikes to the 3 > 4000m tops, the group, good meals (respect for our cook!) and most of all a great tour guide. The 2 days visiting the city of Marrakech at the end made the trip complete as an unforgetable yourney.

Peaks & Valleys of the Atlas

Trek high Atlas - fantastic

5
A fantastic trek walking though villages, valleys, the mountains and terric sceneries of the high Atlas - a quite challenging trek with the highlight being the 3 peaks. 12 days are spent in the mountains, nights are a spent mixed between camping and gites. Most of the walking happens in the morning (early wake up!) and afternoons are mostly spent recovering for the next day. Wonderful time and loads of laughters, great bunch of people, cheerful muleteers and cook (thanks to Houssine, Hamid and Abein).

A great experience

5
The Peaks and Valleys of the Atlas trip is a 15 day trip, 12 days of which are spent in the mountains. The Atlas Mountains are a fantastic place to visit, with stunning views all the way to the start of the Sahara, barren mountainsides and beautiful green valleys and villages.

So lucky with the weather.

Really good value trip. Abdullah our guide was superb. The food was delicious, never had a stomach problem once . My stomach can be very sensitive. We were very luckily with the weather, no rain and pretty warm except on the top of Toubkal.

This amazing trip, my first out of Europe and something I had wanted to do for years, certainly did not disappoint. It had everything, excellent scenery, mostly excellent company, waking up to a different view every day and enough challenges to make for an exciting 12 day trek within the 15 day holiday.
