Cycling Cuba

Perfect trip in almost every way. Beautiful weather, beautiful scenery, beautiful people (the Cubans, that is!). Good food and accommodation. Roads generally in much better condition than the guidebooks would have you believe. As an archetypal "urban cyclist" I found the cycling itself pretty demanding, unlike most of the others in the Group, who were "serious" cyclists (e.g. Lycra-wearing, clippies, personal saddles, etc). But fitness improved rapidly, and with brilliant support from (Cuban) Group Leader (Jose).

Cycling Cuba

Good trip. Cuba is a very interesting place which I still didn't understand despite lots of presentations by our group leader. The riding is graded 'moderate' but I'd say it's top end of moderate, verging on moderate/challenging, compared with the other moderate trip we've done, Indo-China.

The holiday was well thought through and carefully run by the guide you provided. Each evening and lunchtime the food arrived as planned, whether we'd ordered and paid or had it or provided by you, or whether we'd arranged to go out to a restaurant you suggested. Great to see a foreign culture, nothing like I had experienced before. We experienced a great variety, including the atlantic coast, the carribean coast, the jungle, the mountains and a wide veriety of accomodation (all good).

A great trip. The cycling (in terms of interesting views, countryside and twisty/rolling roads) steadily improve over the 2-weeks to some fantastic days that mix fascinating countryside with oxen plowing the tobacco fields, hedges alive with flowers and weaving through the traffic in the form of ponies and traps, rickshaws and 1940's cars as we head through little towns.

Cycling Cuba Jan 15

This is my 4th Exodus trip and again it was superbly planned with plenty of cycling, culture, and fun. Its totally full on, and hotel rooms are only places to dump a bag and crash out at night. The Mojitas always beckon, and with a big group a party is always at hand. The cycling is fairly easy and well researched. The hotels are generally good, and all have A/C and bathroom en suite.

Undoubtably the best way to see Cuba in two weeks. On a bike with excellent guides, like minded group members head from plain to mountain range, village to city and cathedral to desert island.
