Hi. I'm going to Kenya next month and wondered if most people get their visa's prior to the trip or wait until they get there. It is almost double the price to get the visa beforehand.

Hi Paul I am also coming on this trip and plan to get the Visa on arrival, I think thats what is recommended so hopefully it wont be too much trouble.

i am just decided about vaccinations and malaria tablets now! Are you planning on getting any jabs?

Hi Jane... phew I'm not the only one on this trip !  I've had tetanus, hep A and hep B will be having yellow fever soon and obviously malaria tablets. I was going to not bother with hep A but was told to have A+B cost nothing but if I decided later on hep A it would be £100 ! yellow fever is £65. I agree with you on the visa, I think Exodus do suggest getting them there but also give details of a site that can do them before hand.... at twice the price !  I'm getting very excited now, I booked it either September or October. Are you flying from Heathrow too ? Look forward to meeting up with fellow travellers.

Hi Paul, I called my doctors just before lunch and they said Polio/tetanus and Hep A then I have to find somewhere that can do the Yellow Fever.  They have left me a prescription for Malarone malaria tablets as you only have to take these for 2 days  before and 1 week after, with hopefully, very little side effects.

Its all the extras at cost the money eh!  I only booked two days ago and just occurred to me how close it really is!

I need to fully read all the information Exodus has sent me make sure I am not missing anything!

Yes going from Heathrow, happy to meet up when there if you like. When I booked they said 2 men and 4 woman including me are going, all individually.

Hi Jane, just booked my yellow fever for next week, will have to confirm the polio one, not 100% sure if I had that with the tetanus.

Will sort out details on how to meet up at the airport nearer to the time.
