Exodus People - Our Wildlife Encounters Experts

Jim on KilimajaroProduct Director

Joined Exodus in: 2003
Jim’s time with Exodus started as a mountain guide in East Africa, but his enthusiasm for wildlife and photography soon became apparent as he led safaris to Ngorongoro, the Serengeti and other national parks in East Africa. His passion for wildlife has since taken him on personal and professional adventures worldwide – highlights including Orang-utans in Danum, Bee-eaters in Luangwa, the Mountain gorillas of Rwanda and (not in Exodus’ brochure yet) the winter crane migration in Hokkaido. Jim was instrumental in introducing Exodus’ first Wildlife Encounters brochure in 2012, and is an accomplished photographer.

Carl in the Arctic Sales Consultant

Joined Exodus in: 2006
After plenty of adventures and excitement across the world, it's been the Middle East and Central Asia that Carl has been drawn to the most. Following the trails blazed years ago by the likes of Thesiger, Burton and Burnes, he's covered most of this region, or at least those parts that don't require you to convert or enlist. Since working at Exodus, it's been the Polar regions that have caught his attention and expeditions to both the Arctic and the Antarctic in the space of 12 months have given him a privileged look at both ends of the Earth.

Expert in: Antarctica, Arctic, Central Asia, Middle East, North Africa.

Lucy in GreenlandSales Consultant

Joined Exodus in: 1999
Lucy’s experience in the Polar regions spans almost a decade; despite braving an especially brutal crossing of the Drake in 2002 she was keen to experience more, and her subsequent travels have given her an exceptional all-round knowledge of the Polar regions. Expeditions to Spitsbergen, Iceland and most recently Greenland have exposed her not only to the rich wildlife but also the culture of the region: dining on seal and musk ox with Inuit may not be to everyone's taste but for Lucy it’s part of the overall Polar experience. Expert in: The Arctic and Antarctica.

Expert in: Polar Regions, Galapagos.

Sarah in AntarcticaProduct Executive

Joined Exodus in: 2009
Fresh out of university, Sarah discovered her passion for travel during two months spent on an overland safari in Africa. The continent was definitely her first great love and she has been there five times: from game drives in the Serengeti to climbing sand dunes at sunrise in Namibia, even on an overnight camel trek in Morocco. But it has been the sheer beauty, isolation and vastness of Antarctica which has since captured her heart from when she first travelled there in 2004, and she now rates the Polar Regions as her favourite places on earth.

Expert in: Antarctica, Arctic, East and Southern Africa

Whilst studying tourism in Poland, she also managed to climb the Tien-Shan in Kazakhstan, kayak Baikal Lake and sail around the Pacific Ocean! Natasha on safariDigital Marketing Executive

Joined Exodus in: 2010
A lifelong wildlife enthusiast, Natasha fulfilled a childhood dream in 2011 when she sat beside a family of Mountain gorillas in Rwanda. Most recently, she went whale watching in the Azores where she was treated to sightings of Fin and Sperm whales, as well as numerous Bottlenose and Common dolphins that loved to ride the bow wave of the boat.
