Marketing Assistant (Temporary)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the UK’s leading adventure travel company. We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to provide maternity cover support for a period of 6-12 months. This is a highly varied role providing general and administrative support to our busy marketing team, and we are looking for a team player who can demonstrate a willingness to pitch in where necessary.

You will need to be organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You will have a keen interest in marketing and travel, and some experience in the travel industry or a marketing degree would be an advantage.

Contract: 6 to 12 months (Maternity Cover)
Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 depending on experience
Closing Date: Wednesday, 6th July 2011

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in organising and attending events including travel shows, exhibitions and evening presentations
  2. Provide support in the day-to-day production of Trip Notes
  3. Coordinate competition/promotion fulfillment
  4. Prepare and meet entry requirements for awards submissions
  5. General administration
